MAURALAKANA was bought by Badgers Boodstock for $900,000 at the 2007 Keeneland November Sale. Sent into training with Christophe Clement, she won five of her first six races for Christophe including the Beverly D (G1) for Bob Scarborough.

Since retiring, MAURALAKANA has produced G2 winner CAMORRA (Zoffany), who won the Curragh Cup for Ger Lyons.
