Rosental Storms to Stakes Victory

ROSENTAL (Pivotal ex Rose Trail) increased her paddock value enormously by winning the Prix Dahlia (L.) at Saint-Cloud under a great ride by Pierre-Charles Boudot. Sitting in second, she was driven out over 400m from home and made a sustained challenge to wear down Game Theory in the final 100 yards. This was a gutsy performance from a filly who keeps on improving under the tutelage of Luca Cumani.

She head for a Group 3 at Toulouse in November next and stays in training next year in hope of picking up a Group race or two. Rosental was bought by Badgers Bloodstock at the Arqana December Sales last year for €77,000. She has amassed nearly €50,000 in prizemoney since and is now a stakes winner...
