Aljezeera Strikes at Yarmouth

Aljezeera gained her first victory of the season after running out an impressive winner of the British Stallion Studs EBF Beckford Stakes at Yarmouth.

Having finished second in the Group Two Park Hill Stakes at Doncaster last month, the Luca Cumani-trained three-year-old made the most of a drop back down to Listed level to give Frankie Dettori a winner from his only ride on the card.

Racing close to the pace throughout the one-mile-six-furlong contest, the daughter of Frankel moved into a clear advantage around two furlongs from home.

Aljezeera was bought at the Tattersalls October yearling sale for 450,000 gns and her dam DYNAFORCE was a Badgers Bloodstock private purchase for Newsells Park stud.
